BHES School Supplies for Grades K through 5:

In the past, BHESA has offered school supply kits for sale to save parents from having to search for the correct supplies.  The kits cost $40-$65 per student, depending on the grade.  We recognize that for some families, these requests can present a financial burden.  This year, we are trying a new system where we will be purchasing items in bulk to save money and reduce the burden.  For example, the cost of pencils drops from as much as $0.55 per pencil if you buy a single box, to $0.19 a pencil when purchased in bulk.

Here is the LINK to purchase supplies in bulk. Please have it shipped to:

Bedford Hills Elementary School - School Supplies
123 Babbitt Road
Bedford Hills, NY 10507

We hope that families will pick an item or two from the list, purchase it and have it sent to the school.   Instead of purchasing 15-20 different items, families will purchase one or two items to be shared with the students in the school. Once a family purchases an item, it will be taken off the list.  Parents may also send in a cash donation in an envelope to the main office marked "School Supplies" and that will be used towards the purchase supplies.

Important Notice:

Each year we ask families to review and update their child's demographic information. This ensures that the school has the correct contact information for both day-to-day and emergency communications. Additionally, NYS requires the District to provide all families with information about certain regulations and topics annually. Please click this ParentVUE Link  to log in to ParentVue. When prompted, please click on the icon labeled "2025-26 Demographic Update" and follow the instructions to review and make any changes to your child's information and to view the annual notices. This process must be completed for each child attending BCSD schools by August 30, 2025.

Breakfast & Lunch:

In New York State, all students will be eligible for a free breakfast and a free lunch each day starting this school year. Please be advised that there will still be a charge for second helpings and all snacks. Therefore, it is recommended that you continue to fund your child's MySchoolBucks account or send in money if you want your child to be able to purchase snacks. Students will not be able to purchase a second helping or snack if no money is available on their accounts. Please click here for the monthly menus.

My School Bucks:  Parents, you can manage your children's school lunch accounts online or via telephone. Click here to read about MySchoolBucks and how to set up accounts.

Although all students receive breakfast and lunch at no cost, families are still encouraged to complete the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Form. This form is to determine eligibility for additional State, federal and school program benefits that your children may qualify for. Please complete and return the form below:

Transportation & Day Care Forms:

Click here to access the Transportation Department page for busing information and Board of Education policy.

If you would like transportation for your child(ren) from or to a location other than your home address of record, an Alternate Stop/Daycare Transportation request form must be submitted. The form can be sent to your child's school or to the transportation department.

  • Ideally, forms should be received in the Transportation Department by August 1st for transportation to be in place for the start of the school year.
  • If submitted during the course of the school year, processing of Alternate Stop/Daycare forms typically takes 1-2 days.

Transportation is NOT provided to after school activities (dance school, tae kwon do, etc.) OR any type of religious instruction.

If a student needs to be dropped off at a location other than your home address, or if a student may be met at the bus by an adult other than a parent/guardian, please complete and return the form below:

2025-2026 Alternate Stop/Drop Off Authorization Form (English/Spanish)

All forms must be returned to the school office by the first day of school.

School Dismissal Manager:

Absences, late arrival, early dismissal, and changes to your child's daily dismissal are managed via School Dismissal Manager (SDM). SDM is a web-based program that allows parents to schedule and update at the click of a button on a mobile device or computer.  SDM replaces notes, emails and phone calls to the main office.  Absences and late arrivals must be entered before the school day starts.  Dismissal changes must be entered into SDM by 1:00pm (10:30am on early dismissal days).  Dismissal changes will NOT be accepted via phone, note or email. Please click here to view a SDM Quick Reference Guide for parents.
